Schools drop “honour rolls” – Should we follow at work?

An article in this morning’s Vancouver Sun is bound to stir up controversy about the decisions of some BC schools to drop the “honour roll” used to recognize top achievements by students. School officials say they’d prefer ceremonies to award students for their “individual strengths and passions”.
